Counselling Services & Fees

If you are looking for support choose one of the counselling services below.

Sessions with Parents

Sessions often focus on helping parents to improve their patience, especially when faced with a child’s consistent and aggressive expression of frustration or defiance. The practice of ‘intentional parenting’ supports a child’s ability to successfully manage emotions, enhances the development of self-esteem and resilience.

Sessions with Individuals

In sessions with individuals, I focus on supporting clients to increase their understanding of why they chose to do the things they do. Together we explore the impact of loss, loneliness, anxiety, depression, fear, futility and pain. By making unconscious thoughts and feelings conscious, we develop insight and learn to make sense of, and peace with distressing experiences.

My work extends to couples and is guided by adult attachment theory and emotion-focused therapy.

Sessions with Couples

Sessions with couples include a focus on conflict resolution, how to negotiate differences, improving communication skills, and the development of empathy, compassion, vulnerability and the tolerance of dependency.
